If you’ve ever freelanced for a magazine, you’re probably familiar with an editorial calendar. Magazines and other periodicals produce content based upon special events, holidays, celebrations, etc. Most issues are theme-based. This helps content creation run smoothly.
Blogging is no different. You can create a blogging editorial calendar to help with planning and scheduling. Sometimes planning ahead can create confusion, though. Are my posts in draft mode or have I already scheduled them? What days do I still need to create content for? Yikes! I’m going on a vacation – what should I do to manage my blog while I’m gone?
